First day at Piet Boon

09:00-17:30 Today I had my first day at the company Piet Boon.
First I helped with the project of a new restaurant. I helped with the drawings of the inside of the restaurant, colouring the different walls and floors for the people who are going to build it at the end.
After that I went with some other collegues to Amsterdam, to the Omoda store. They also make the design of the new Omoda shop. The interieur, the architecture etc. They had a meeting with the contracor and the people from the electricity. It was very informative, to see how such groups are cooperating together.
We also went to a restaurant to watch a wall made of plants, to see how this is build and if it was a possibility for the new shop or the resaurant.
Once back at the office I set up a kind of showroom from houses, because we have cliënts this week who are interested in those houses. The company wants to give them an impression how the houses could look like.
The cultural aspect of today was the discussion about the weather. It has been raining all day. The foreign people in the team have dutch lesson tonight, so we showed a movie about how many different dutch words we have for rain. They think its funny that we have so many words for it. More cultural aspects weren't there today.
Some of my goals have allready been accieved today. I have seen how they are operating with other companies.
I also have experienced how the company works with designing different rooms and buildings.
